There are moments in history

when humanity is called to gather...

To Pause

The Angkor Convergence is one such gathering.

Held amidst the sacred landscape of Angkor Wat and the living waters of Cambodia, this immersive eight-day gathering brings together spiritual leaders, social entrepreneurs, artists, peacebuilders, cultural visionaries, and people of the heart from around the world.

Conceived in the spirit of UNITY EARTH initiatives such as U Day in Ethiopia, Holy Land Living Water, and Peace Week in Japan, The Angkor Convergence is designed as a sacred meeting point between deep restoration and conscious activation.

A place where inner renewal and planetary service belong together.

Restoration + Activation

Yin and Yang for a Planetary Turning Point

The Angkor Convergence unfolds in two intentional movements:

Restoration & Activation

Yin and Yang.
Being and Doing.
Sacred pause and collective action.

The gathering is timed to coincide with the 10th anniversary of the global 7 Days of Rest (January 1–7) — an international invitation into reflection, healing, reconciliation, creativity, and planetary pause.

The opening phase of the Convergence flows within this field of restoration. The second phase emerges from it. Not activism born from exhaustion — but action arising from coherence.

January 3–6 | The Yin Phase

Restoration • Sacred Waters • Deep Renewal

The opening days are devoted to restoration. Participants will enter a carefully curated environment designed to nourish body, mind, heart, and spirit through:

  • Sacred temple pilgrimages throughout Angkor
  • Sound healing journeys and contemplative practices
  • Group coherence and relational experiences
  • Reflective dialogue and meaningful connection
  • Wellness experiences, yoga sessions and access to the Japanese onsen at Angkor Grace Wellness Resort
  • Immersion in the sacred waters and healing traditions of Cambodia

This phase invites participants to slow down enough to truly listen — to themselves, to one another, and to the deeper currents moving through our world. Before we can consciously shape the future together, we must first restore the human spirit.

The Sacred Waters of Angkor

Water is central to the spirit of this gathering. For the ancient Khmer civilisation, water was never merely a resource. It was cosmological, sacred, ecological, and deeply alive. The vast barays surrounding Angkor were not simply reservoirs — they were expressions of a civilisation that understood water as a force connecting humanity, nature, spirit, and cosmos.

Throughout the Convergence, participants will encounter water in multiple dimensions:

  • The cosmological waters of the Angkor landscape
  • Sacred Buddhist water blessing ceremonies
  • Japanese-inspired thermal bathing traditions
  • Ecological living waters and aquatic healing practices
  • Reflective practices inspired by deep listening to water itself

In Angkor, water is not background. It is teacher, mirror, medicine, and memory.

January 7–10 | The Yang Phase

Activation • Collaboration • Strategic Vision

As the 7 Days of Rest reaches completion, the energy of the gathering shifts toward activation. The second half of the Convergence becomes a dynamic collaborative forum focused on the year ahead for the growing global movement for unity, peacebuilding, and planetary transformation.

Together, participants will engage in:

  • Strategic dialogue and alliance-building
  • Breakout sessions and collaborative working groups
  • Cross-sector networking and movement coordination
  • Visioning processes for 2027 and beyond
  • Practical initiatives supporting global grassroots collaboration

This is not simply a conference. It is a living field of relationship, creativity, strategy, and shared purpose. A place where changemakers gather not only to exchange ideas — but to strengthen the deeper human coherence needed to carry meaningful work into the years ahead.

For activation alone is not enough. What is needed now is wisdom.
Clarity.
Courage.
Vision.

What is needed is the rekindling of the ancient fire.

The Ancient Fire

If water is the great restorative force of Angkor, fire is its force of awakening.

For thousands of years, the spiritual traditions of Asia have spoken of an inner fire — the fire of insight, devotion, transformation, illumination, courage, and sacred responsibility.

The fire carried through:

  • the yogic traditions of India
  • the meditative lineages of Buddhism
  • indigenous and animist ways of knowing
  • sacred chant, ceremony, prayer, and pilgrimage
  • the eternal human search for truth and meaning

At Angkor, these streams converged. The temples themselves were conceived not merely as monuments, but as cosmological instruments — designed to orient human consciousness toward the sacred order of existence.

Throughout the Convergence, participants will engage not only in strategic collaboration, but also in rekindling:

  • clarity of purpose
  • creative vision
  • spiritual insight
  • courage for the times ahead
  • collective imagination
  • the deeper fire of service

This is not the fire of conflict. It is the ancient fire of consciousness itself. The fire that has guided humanity’s wisdom traditions across millennia. The fire that reminds us who we are. The fire that calls us toward what we might yet become.

Anchoring 2027

The Angkor Convergence is conceived as part of a larger global movement seeking to help anchor 2027 as a pivotal turning point in human and planetary consciousness.

Across the world, many are sensing that humanity is entering a threshold period — one that asks for new forms of collaboration, deeper wisdom, spiritual maturity, and courageous imagination.

The challenges before us are immense.
But so too is the possibility.

The Angkor Convergence exists to strengthen the human relationships, inner resilience, shared vision, and collective intelligence required for this next chapter.

Not through ideology.
Not through division.
But through encounter, coherence, creativity, and trust.

A Global Circle of Changemakers

The Convergence will welcome an extraordinary gathering of international voices, including:

  • Sadhvi Bhagawati Saraswati
  • Charles Vogl
  • Kristin Hoffmann

…alongside spiritual teachers, social entrepreneurs, artists, facilitators, youth leaders, bridge-builders, and movement pioneers from around the world.

Participation will be intentionally limited to preserve intimacy, depth, and meaningful connection.

Why Angkor?

For centuries, Angkor has stood as one of humanity’s great sacred centres — a meeting place of water, cosmology, devotion, architecture, and civilisational imagination.

Here, surrounded by ancient temples and living waters, participants are invited to reconnect with both the depth of our human inheritance and the possibility of a new planetary future.

To gather at Angkor is to remember that great civilisations are not built only through power or technology.

They are built through relationship:
between humanity and nature,
between spirit and society,
between wisdom and action.

In a time of fragmentation and acceleration, Angkor reminds us that another way of being human is possible.

Join us

In a fragmented and accelerating world, restoration is revolutionary.

And meaningful activation requires groundedness, trust, and inner coherence.

The Angkor Convergence is an invitation to both.

To restore the spirit.
To activate the field.
To help shape a new chapter in the human story.

Honouring the Sacred Waters.
Rekindling the Ancient Fire.
